East-Timor Minister Visits Economic Undertakings

East-Timor's Home Minister, Rogerio Lobato, is since this morning visiting several economic undertakings, here, in continuation of his work visit to Angola.

Rogerio Lobato said on his arrival at this northern province that he was coming to visit some oil-exploration infrastructures, since his country will also start working on the oil business.

He stated that the intention is to acquire experiences, here, that can be used in East-Timor, having added that another objective of his visit to the country is to sign an agreement with the Angolan Home Minister, Osvaldo Serra Van-Dunem, relating to the training, in Angola, of police personnel from East-Timor, having the document been signed on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the Angolan deputy Home minister, Diamantino Cangalo, who is accompanying the East-Timor official on the trip to Cabinda, said that this is part of the Government's moves to find ways to best provide the programmed support to East-Timor, as a country which experienced twenty-four years of war, thus, in need of various types of assistance.

The delegation that is visiting Cabinda also includes high rank police officers and have already visited Malongo's Oil Exploration Area and the Takula Platform.

The delegation is due back to Luanda, on Friday evening.
