East Timor: Migration initiatives announced
Geneva, August 30 (Lusa) - The International Organization for Migrations
(IOM) has announced a brace of initiatives to help the government of East Timor
bolster its migration management and legislation.
IOM announced the two projects Friday, which are being funded by the
Australian Department of Immigration and Indigenous Affairs and include
consultative workshops with Dili officials to develop draft regulations to
strengthen existing immigration and asylum laws.
