Mataram ­ Thursday ­ An Indonesian Navy personnel who uses the alias Agil was reported to the Mataram police station on Thursday, suspected of being involved in a case of sexual assault and looting of electronic goods from a boarding house in Batu Ringgit, Sekarbela district, Mataram, NTB.

The Mataram police station said that the case of suspected sexual assault and looting is currently being investigated by the local police station together with the Naval Military Police (Pomal).

“The Navy soldier and the student are still being questioned, as well as a few witnesses. Once it is completed it will be sent to Pomal for continued action because a naval personnel is involved” said an official from the Mataram police.

A Mataram police official Dadi Cahyo said that based on the testimony of the victim and witnesses the chronology of the suspected sexual assault starts from the naval personnel climbing into the boarding house, entering the victim’s room and then threatening the victim with a knife so that she would have sexual relations with him.

Oknum TNI AL Diduga Lakukan Pencabulan dan Penjarahan

Kamis, 5 Februari 2009 | 14:00 WIB MATARAM, KAMIS ­ Oknum anggota TNI Angkatan Laut (AL), Kelasi Dua BN alias Agil dilaporkan ke Polres Mataram, Kamis, karena diduga terlibat kasus pencabulan dan penjarahan barang elektronik dari kamar kos di Batu Ringgit, Kecamatan Sekarbela, Kota Mataram, Nusa Tengara Barat (NTB).

Prajurit TNI AL yang berdinas di Pangkalan Angkatan Laut (Lanal) Mataram itu dilaporkan An (24), teman dekat korban atas dugaan pencabulan Bunga (bukan nama sebenarnya), siswi kelas dua salah satu SMA swasta di Kota Mataram.

Kapolres Mataram AKBP Triyono Basuki Pujono, yang didampingi Kasat Reskrim AKP Andi Dadi Cahyo, mengatakan, kasus dugaan pencabulan dan penjarahan yang terjadi pada Kamis (5/2) dini hari itu, sedang dalam penanganan penyidik Polres Mataram bekerja sama dengan penyidik Polisi Militer Angkatan Laut (Pomal).

"Prajurit TNI AL dan siswi itu masih diperiksa, juga beberapa saksi. Jika berkasnya rampung, segera dilimpahkan ke Pomal untuk ditindaklanjuti karena melibatkan oknum anggota TNI AL," ujarnya.

Triyono mengatakan, penyidik Polres Mataram dan Pomal Lanal Mataram sudah melakukan olah tempat kejadian perkara (TKP) di kamar kos yang ditempati So (teman dekat korban) di Batu Ringgit, Sekarbela, dan mengamankan sejumlah barang bukti.

Penyidikan kasus tersebut mengarah kepada dua perbuatan tindak pidana, yakni
