Prosecutor General, Longinhos Monteiro to place the post of the Timorese
National Police (PNTL) commander.

Jose Luis Guterres, said Deputy of the UN Secretary General's
Representative in Timor-Leste, Finn Rieske Nielsen had presented a process
of handing over responsibility to the Timorese National Police (PNTL)
throughout the country.

decision to handover executive power from the UN Police to the Timorese
National Police.

Security Council to prolong the mission of the United Nations Integrated
Mission in Timor-Leste until 2012.
Sexual assault attempt suspects under house arrest Radio Televisaun
Timor Leste 20 February 2009 - Kovalima District Court has made a decision
that the two men who are suspected of being engaged in the recent
attempted sexual assault of two under-age girls in Manufahi district be
held under house arrest.
