UN police to hand over responsibility in four districts RTTL 20 March
2009 - Prime Minister Xanana Gusmao said that the first phase of the
handing over responsibility from the UN police (UNPol) to the Timorese
National Police (PNTL) would be held in the Districts of Alieu, Lautem,
Manatuto and Ainaro.
Gusmao concerns about martial art clubs conflict RTTL 20 March 2009 -
Prime Minister Xanana Gusmao has expressed concerns over the recent
martial art clubs conflict in Lurumata which was leaving one killed. See

Education, UNICEF in cooperation with the Timorese Defense Force (F-FDTL)
and the International Stabilisation Forces (ISF) has officially launched
an information campaign about explosive materials at Tasitolu Primary
School on Thursday (19/3).

Indonesian Mandiri Bank to open branch offices in four districts RTTL 20

Seven prosecutors threaten to resign if Ivo Valente is replaced Suara
Timor Lorosae 20 March 2009 - Seven prosecutors in the Public Prosecution
have threatened to resign from their posts if President Ramos Horta
appoints International legal advisor Ivo Rosa to be deputy Prosecutor
general replacing Ivo Jorge Valente.
