Indonesia, Timor Leste air space secured

Makassar (ANTARA News) - Air Force Operations Commander for Region II Air Force Lt Gen Yushan Sayuti said the RI-Timor Leste border region was quite secured, without any security disturbances.

"We did not feel any threat to the air space of the border region between the two neighboring countries, and I also did not see the Timor Leste airpower posing a threat, especially that it is a country still busily engaged in the development of its armed forces," he said in Kupang Tuesday.

He was there to lead a ceremony in which Flight Lt Col Ferdinan Roring handed over his post of Eltari Air Base Commander to Flight Lt Col Joko Sugeng.
