2009 - Prime Minister Xanana Gusmao has called on former Prime Minister
Mari Alkatiri not to deny that the Fretilin former Government led by him
was more corrupt than the Parliamentary Majority Alliance (AMP)
Government.

Alkatiri had no political ethics in his conscience, as he [Alkatiri] had

Timor Leste 13 May 2009 - Parliamentary President Fernando Lasama de
Araujo has officially halted the Parliamentary plenary session on Tuesday
(12/5) because the majority of the AMP parliamentary members had left the
House of Parliament.
Civil servants should not become board member of political party Radio
Televisaun Timor Leste 13 May 2009 - Deputy Prime Minister Mario Viegas
Carrascalao said that Timorese public servants should not become board
members of a political party in order to secure democracy building in the
country.
PNTL officers participate in financial management training Radio
Televisaun Timor Leste 13 May 2009 - The Timorese National Police (PNTL)
Command has held 10 day financial management training for police officers
from the 13 districts. The training is aimed at increasing skills of the
police officers on budget management.
No ways to control illegal fishing: Commander De Jesus Radio Televisaun
Timor Leste 13 May 2009 - The Timorese Police Deputy Commander Inspector
Afonso de Jesus said the country security forces had no proper facilities
to control the country's maritime zone for preventing illegal fishing in
the country's territorial seas.
PNTL should investigate Darius' death: Borges Suara Timor Lorosae 13
May 2009 - MP Fernanda Borges from the National Unity Party (PUN) called
on the Timorese National Police (PNTL) to hold a thorough investigation
into the death of Darius da Costa Belo on the seashore at Tasi Tolu.
Allegation made by Carlito is untrue: commander Niki Suara Timor
Lorosae 13 May 2009 - The Timorese Military Police Commander, Abel Niki da
Costa Xavier has denied totally allegations made by Carlito Brito saying
Darius da Costa Belo died because of he was maltreated by military police
officers.
IOM holds training on human trafficking to journalists Radio Televisaun
Timor Leste 13 May 2009 - The International Organization for Migration
(IOM) has held a two-day training on human trafficking for Timorese
journalists in the capital Dili. The training was held to help increase
the journalist's knowledge about human trafficking.

Lasama de Araujo has called for the Timorese people to create peace and
