Sydney, Dec 15 (Lusa) - Nobel Peace Prize co-laureate Jose Ramos Horta has suggested that former Indonesian president Suharto be tried for crimes against humanity, like former Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet. Ramos Horta said in Sydney on Monday that Suharto and his "clique of general" should be tried for the "massacre of more than one million Indonesians" in 1965 and 1966 when he came to power, and for thousands of killings in East Timor, Irian Jaya and Aceh. Ramos Horta also said that universal principles of human rights should be applied when trying suspects for cases similar to war crimes and genocide.-Lusa nnnn
