East Timor: UN Agency Readies Anti-Corruption Program 9 Feb-13:12
The United Nations Development Program will launch a anti- corruption
training program for East Timor Saturday, at the start of a three-day
visit to Dili by the head of the UNDP, Mark Malloch Brown.
The dlrs 260,000 program will aim both to train Timorese officials to
combat corruption and to strengthen the capacity of the territory's
Inspector General's office for such responsibilities, the UNDP office in
Dili said Friday.
