Attending the 34th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting in Hanoi this week, Xanana
Gusmao and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Dr. Jose Ramos-Horta today welcome
the election of Ms Megawati Sukarnoputri as Indonesia's 5th President.

Megawati Sukarnoputri and wish her much success and happiness in her noble
task in leading one of the world's greatest nations."
