Two of the four specialized committees of East Timor`s Constituent Assembly presented their draft reports Monday to the speaker of the legislature, Francisco Guterres "Lu-Olo".

The reports from the "Economic and Financial Organization" and the "Fundamental Rights/Constitutional Guarantees and Amendment to the Constitution" thematic committees were formally delivered to Lu- Olo, who now sends the documents to the Systematization and Harmonization Committee, the body charged with merging the reports from the four thematic groups into a draft constitution. The committe will in turn present its draft constitution to Lu-Olo by Nov. 19.

The Constituent Assembly, which was sworn in on Sept. 15, must approve a constitution by mid-December.
