From UNMISET Dili, August 18 2003 Daily Media Review F-FDTL Soldier Shot Dead In An Accident A F-FDTL soldier died on Friday when another member of the Armed Forces accidentally shot him. The soldier was sleeping when he was hit by the bullet shot by one of his comrades, who was cleaning his gun. Suara Timor Lorosae reported that the case is under investigation. (STL) Ex-Refugees Ask Timor-Leste to Respect Seroja Heroes Cemetery Former East Timorese refugees residing in the Indonesian eastern district of Belu on Sunday asked the people of Timor-Leste to respect Seroja heroes' cemetery (TMP Seroja) where pro-integration East Timorese fighters were buried. "We do hope that the government and people of Timor-Leste will always respect the TPM Seroja as the cemetery of those who have dedicated themselves to developing Timor -Leste on their own ways between 1976 and 1999," former East Timorese refugee Pedro Sousa said. Sousa, who was formerly chief of the Liquica district legislative council (DPRD) said during their life the pro-integration East Timorese fighters did their best for the benefit of the East Timorese people's welfare.
